Having come out with a tie against the black swordsman, Yuichiro Amane leaves, feeling guilty for not having avenged shinoa. He leaves Kirito alone, but he gets a phone call from Guren Ichinose. "Hey Yuu, I have a favor to ask. Shigure was recently been killed by lubbock, and I am fighting a losing battle. I'll be dead soon, but my soul won't rest until that bastard is dead."
