This is the Yayoi that appears in the Xenoglossia anime. There's another Yayoi for the one from the actual iM@S series.
If you look at the project-iM@S page, Yayoi changes over time - if I recall correctly, I used the data from the initial release.

I still need at least one other viable source as cross-reference since there are two sources with conflicting information.
(view post)
The only information I have found states Clifford Chapin as the voice actor for Mini Sengoku Basara. Unless there are multiple, viable sources that can be used as a cross reference, it will stay as is.

Seems like they might have accidentally refreshed the page a couple times causing the image to be reuploaded. I've deleted the duplicates.

She looked like an adult to the uploader, and the official details become the same as the image details at character upload, until it is changed by a mod/admin.
Though I only found one instance of her actual age from a fan-type site, considering her relations to another character, I'll change her official detail to teen.
(view post)
Yeah, her left eye seems a bit too far over.

Certain tags have to be verified before they are placed onto characters, which adds to the never-ending workload of the moderators/administrators in the character division. While I'm not sure of the exact reason, please keep in mind that the numbers of mods/admins in the character division is only a few, so it may take them some time to get to it.

While this might be common knowledge for anyone familiar with the Naruto series, it is something that Mitsugu and I are unaware of, as we are not familiar with the Naruto series.

Looking at a couple Naruto wikis (
this and
this) it is specified as red. "Image details" refer to what someone will most likely say the colour is by looking at the image, and "Official details" refer to the official data - in this case, the hair
appears
pink, but is
officially
red. I'm sure the animation studio could have used a more vivid red, but I'm sure they decided to stick with the pastel tones that they were already using, so it's most likely why it appears pink.
For future reference: if official colour is different than it appears, please specify so (e.g. "official [hair] colour is [colour]") as saying otherwise usually means the colour is completely incorrect, and also using links to a good wiki page is more reliable than a manga page.

There isn't really a proper pronoun for ambiguous people (or for gender-neutral usage) in English or Japanese like there is in Swedish. Using "it" is usually a pronoun for an inanimate object, which can be demeaning when used on a person or character. Using "s/he" only works for instances where the gender is definitive one way or the other but unknown. Using "they" isn't widely accepted as it's usually used for a group of people. Using the character's (or person's) name is probably the best way although it isn't a pronoun.

While true, other countries have regulations on what can be brought/sold in that country (some stricter than others), but sadly it mainly boils down to profit - a company will only take the calculated risk if they know it's not going to be a niche product (in short: profit > break even > lose money).

It's just the outfit and the way the artist shaded that makes his chest look weird.

A "tomboy" doesn't have to follow the definition 100% and honestly in my opinion, the term is getting looser and looser as stereotypical gender roles are dissolving away. Also, being a good cook and having a cute voice has nothing to do with being a tomboy or not - some guys can cook, some girls can't cook; some girls have lower-pitched voices, some guys have higher-pitched voices.
While it's not easy to find out who put the tag on, there is no clear evidence to either support or deny if Ritsu is a tomboy, and I'm not willing to debate this any further or remove the tag; whoever posted the tag can remove it if they feel they have made a mistake.
Again, the tag stays and will no longer be debated or discussed, anything posted further will be deleted.

Technically though 「そうじろう」 directly romanizes/transliterates to "soujirou" (そ = so, う = u, じ = ji, ろ = ro, う = u) and "Sōjirō" is more for pronunciation for westerners. Also "ō" is also used for "double 'o'", ookami (wolf) being an example, so "ō" = "ou" isn't entirely true all the time.

Yes, she is a vampire, like her older sister Remillia; appearance has nothing to do with their sisterly relations. As far as her popularity, I haven't a clue, but that's kinda how popularity is for most Touhou characters.
(view post)
It's the way she acts and dresses.
"A tomboy is a girl who exhibits characteristics or behaviors considered typical of a boy, including wearing masculine clothing and engaging in games and activities that are physical in nature and are considered in many cultures to be the domain of boys." ~

Looks like he was. I'll add the appearance to the list.

I've found no supporting evidence to support that this character is female in gender.
(view post)
Because the
mangaka reused some characters and/or character designs from Black Cat for To Love-ru.
(view post)
Nope, just a very masculine-looking female, hence the reverse-trap tag.
(view post)
The uploader probably took it upon themselves to romanize it how they thought was correct. I have fixed the name to reflect the romanization I found while cross-referencing.
(view post)
Fixed. The uploader probably uploaded too quickly and didn't double check the traits.

It's just like Nameless says. To be able to add them, you need an account. We only have a few members and even less moderators/admins that upload series and characters. Creating an account and uploading the missing vocaloids will help much more than just complaining about the problem.

(Again, I'm at this.) The anime wasn't too bad, but a lot of the plot seemed really rushed for the anime since CLAMP jam-packed a lot of info into the 8 volumes of the manga.
The manga itself, from what I remember of it, is kinda "enh" since none of it was horribly memorable (and the fact taht i only read it once). There's also the heavy symbolism overtone that gives the series the sort of darkness to it...
Basically, Japanese call a "PC" (personal computer) a "perso-com" and because there's ruined relations here and there because people "fall in love" with their PCs... More so that people pay more attention to their PCs than the person they're in a relationship with. The whole point of Chii's character is (put aside that weird program thing) that she is the model of how people should be with their PCs, which is that you can't romantically fall in love with your PC since it doesn't have sentience (normal perso-com in chobits, because Chii technically is sentient), and that physical consummation isn't real consummation since it's only one-sided (hence why Chii's switch is placed where it is).
Darkness aside though, it's one that gets you thinking a bit if you understand the symbolism and what's actually going on.
(view post)
If you have the Christmas movie DVD, episode 25 comes with it in the bonus section.
Anyway, I do agree that the anime is kinda "enh" and prefer the manga greatly over it. If you have the patience to read through it all, I'd say it's pretty worth it since the bulk of main characters do change over the years (Su and Sara not too much, but at the least their energy levels toned down enough) and there is resolution to the series.

I found no canon evidence to support this. Relations are only used for canon material.

Meaning that the company that licensed Kill La Kill felt the content was for 17+. We have a different rating system here, so "Teen" is the closest to 17+ and is only meant to give a general guideline.

On a more serious note, seeing that their situations on becoming a mother was different, I'd honestly have to go with Nagisa.

Hard to vote here because of the difference in age - mainly that Ushio is 5 and there wasn't enough characterization in the story to show how she would be when she would be about Yui's age.
